  •  1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon shatavari powder (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. We are not cooking the balls we are just warm enough to dehydrate them. You can of course use a dehydrator if you own one.

  • Mix the coconut butter, maca root, shredded coconut, cacao nibs, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, shatavari, ashwagandha, and salt in a bowl.

  • Remove the pits from the dates and place them into a food processor with the water. Blend until smooth.

  • Pour date mixture and vanilla into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  • Using a small ice cream scoop. Scoop some of the mixture and place it onto a baking sheet.

  • Place in the warmed oven for 25 minutes, then let cool.

  • Store in the fridge and enjoy!

***How to make coconut butter***

  • Place 3-4 cups of organic unsweetened shredded coconut in a food processor.

  • Run for 8-10 minutes scraping down the sides several times until the coconut is the consistency of frosting. That’s it.

  • You will have more than you need for this recipe, but I am sure once you taste these you will be making more or using your butter for other yummy recipes.
