International Picnic Online Cooking Class
When I think of summer, two things come to mind, community and travel. With summer fully here, one of the best ways I know to bring folks together is a good ol' fashioned picnic! For our upcoming cooking class, we will be blending the two with an international picnic cooking class.
The menu will consist of:
• Asian Slaw
• Italian Macaroni Salad
• Roasted Corn on the Cob with Chimichurri
• Sweet and Smoky Vegetable Skewers
• Rosewater Mint Melon Ball Skewers.
With a shopping list shared in advance, you can join me on Zoom and we will make the recipes together, at the same time. No time or option to cook during the class - feel welcome to join us to just watch the class and then you will have the recording and instructions to cook on your own at a later date.

they manifest as the doshas called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. We will learn how to manage the doshas to
experience balance and well-being.

Pitta Pacifying Yoga Class + Farmers Market Field Trip + Kitchari Cooking Class and Lunch + Dinacharya: Daily Rituals for Health and Vitality: Dinacharya is the Ayurvedic term for a daily lifestyle/routine. It is considered the “Ultimate Preventive Medicine”. Daily practices are the foundation of a healthy body and a peaceful mind. Ayurvedic daily practices increase vitality, boost the immune system, calm the mind, improve sleep and slow down the aging process.

Kapha Pacifying Yoga + Poha with Curry Potatoes and Optional Eggs Brunch + Kitchen Rx: How to Use Your Spice Cabinet as an Ayurvedic Pharmacy: We will explore consciousness in food, how to set up your ayurvedic kitchen and dive into the medicinal properties of spices that you most likely have in your kitchen cabinet. We will learn which can prevent and heal ailments ranging from physical pain to indigestion and itching to headaches.
*Monday: Lorilee will be available for 1 hour appointments $90

The Science of Sleep: An Ayurvedic Approach to a Modern Epidemic
Sleep is one of the three pillars of life according to Ayurveda, the other two being food and sex. Sleep deprivation is now a global epidemic, and research has linked it to a laundry list of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, heart attack, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoporosis, just to name a few. We will look at why sleep is so hard to come by, do's and don'ts of a sleep routine, foods and herbs that encourage sleep, sleep patterns according to dosha, and how to bring it all into balance.
